This project consisted of relocating the dock manifold downstream a distance that is equal to the distance that the downstream edge of the bridge is shifted. The scope of relocation work included, but was not limited to: the supply and installation of thirteen 12" diameter steel pipe poles plumb; eight 14" diameter steel pipe piles battered; dynamic pile testing and re-strike; construction of two each upstream and downstream mooring dolphins; supply and installation of two each steel framing and installation of owner-supplied mooring bollard; installation of two each owner-supplied fender systems; installation of piping from the manifold location to shore; and installation of lights on the walkway.
An MTI marine survey crew performed the pre-construction side scan sonar. When construction was completed but prior to demobilization a post-construction scan was performed to document any changes or debris. MTI removed all underwater debris deemed by the owner to pose a threat to navigation.
